Now, naturally, pregnant ladies like yourself may have some reservations about booking a maternity photography session.
· Has your pregnancy taken its toll on you and you don’t look or feel yourself, so you’re lacking confidence in front of the camera?
· Do you worry that you will look huge in the photos?
· Might you feel awkward about showing your bump in the pictures?

These concerns we completely understand. And I can tell you, as a mum of two, I’ve been there myself and know that being pregnant is a life-changing experience, to say the least!

All the pregnant women I’ve ever photographed look absolutely gorgeous in their maternity photos despite them worrying about these things on the day of their session.

A big part of the session is ensuring that you look and feel completely comfortable on camera. We’ll chat about the look that you’d like us to create and spend time prepping you for the photos. Nothing is rushed, in fact, the session is totally relaxed.

We have a wide selection of maternity gowns which you are welcome to wear during your session. They come in a variety of sizes, styles, colours and fabrics. They will definitely fit you even if you’re expecting multiples!
· Treat yourself and look and feel amazing
Having professional hair and make-up styling really gives our maternity clients a confidence boost in front of the camera. We highly recommend that you arrange this for the morning of your shoot.

And, we work hard to ensure that the session itself is such an enjoyable experience. So, even if you don’t arrive with a spring in your step, we aim to have you leaving our photography studio feeling that way!

What happens during a maternity photoshoot?
We’ll book your maternity photography session for a date around the time that you are 7-8 months pregnant.
We’ll spend around 45 minutes - one hour making a beautiful set of pregnancy pictures for you to cherish forever.
Our photography studio is lovely and warm, so you won’t feel the cold when revealing your baby bump for the camera. Having said that, if you’d rather keep your bump under wraps, that’s also fine.
If you have an older child, we would be delighted to include them in the session too. Bring them along and we will capture stunning mother and son/daughter photographs which are a lovely addition to the gallery of images we can create for you.

We recommend that you book your pregnancy photoshoot early
Early booking for our maternity photography sessions is advised. Please note a £50 session fee is required at the time of booking and will be deducted from your chosen photo package.
