Whatever the occasion, here at Kingshill Studios, located just outside Aberdeen, we believe that having portraits taken of your family is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself, your children and your future generations.
Being chosen by you to capture your precious family in photographs is both an honour and a privilege. We take great pleasure in helping you to preserve special family moments and we love photographing adults and children of all ages.
Many families choose us as their family photographer in Aberdeen and return annually for updated family portraits. It’s always a delight to have them back. Seeing the babies we photographed as newborns running around in our five acres of Scottish countryside is particularly special!
FAMILY PORTRAITS: What’s on offer?
Our family sessions take around one hour within our studio, and we can accommodate multiple generations and family groups at these sessions. A maximum of twelve people can be included in these sessions. If the weather allows, we will pop outside, but we never guarantee this as part of our sessions, due to our Scottish weather!
Following your session, you will be invited back to the studio to select your favourite portraits from your gallery. Eight digital portraits are included for £595, ten digital portraits are included for £695 or you can purchase your full gallery for £945. Wall art is also available and can be ordered at this viewing appointment. Please bring anyone along to this appointment who you think may wish to see the portraits. We can fit around six people (at a squeeze!).

WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION
Choosing what to wear for your portrait session can be a lot of fun, but, if you're stuck, take a look at some of the examples of what our other families wear at the top of this page. Just make sure to keep the emphasis on you and your family by keeping it simple. Generally, solid colours work best so please avoid large patterns or stripes. Neutral colours work well, creams, beige, khaki, avoid black if you can.
