Here at Kingshill Studios, there is now more choice than ever before as we are introducing a new style of newborn photography which we’re confident that you’ll love!
Now, when parents attend a free design consultation and then decide to book in with us for a newborn photography session they will be offered one of two distinct styles of newborn photography; we’ve aptly named these ‘RICH’ and ‘PURE’.
In keeping with our signature style of photography, both involve us posing your newborn in a variety of ways to create a stunning portfolio of newborn images for you to treasure. As ever, all portrait sessions will take place in our purpose-built Aberdeenshire-based photography studio.
The main difference in the two styles we now offer is in the lighting and backdrops used. Keep reading to learn more.
New Baby Photography Services
1) Rich Newborn Photography
Our ‘RICH’ newborn photography service will incorporate an unashamedly beautiful palette of colour, as well as props and backdrops in a variety of soothing hues.
As ever, your newborn baby will be carefully posed in the popular ‘sleeping baby’ style, and a RICH portfolio of newborn images will feature flattering coloured backdrops, wraps and props to offset your baby’s delicate skin.
The colours we include in your baby’s RICH newborn session will be discussed with you at the start of the session. It’s highly recommended that we discuss the interior décor of your home and consider this as we plan the colour scheme that we use in your baby’s session.
RICH newborn portraits are warm and inviting and are typical of the style of newborn photography which we have provided for many years – a style which keeps bringing parents back to us year after year.
2) Pure Newborn Photography - NEW!
And we’re delighted to introduce our all-new ‘Pure’ newborn photography! This is a style which is contemporary, clean and fresh.
PURE newborn portraits are predominantly all-white and are created here using soft, flattering light.
The resulting images will capture your baby’s unique portrait against a whiter-than-white backdrop, keeping the focus 100% on them and their tiny features and pristine, soft skin.
‘Pure’ is newborn photography that would suit those parents who love our timeless ‘sleeping baby’ portrait style and who also love the pureness of clean natural imagery.
PURE images would look stunning in black picture frames or mounted onto either colourful or white walls in your living areas or baby’s nursery.
Which is your favourite newborn photography style?
While the two styles of newborn photography we now offer are very different from each other, it is absolutely possible to incorporate elements of both into your baby’s photoshoot if that is what you desire. So, if you can’t choose between the two, that’s ok!
We can create both styles of image and thereby provide you with an even greater variety of baby portraits for you to choose from and to display proudly in your home.
